John Godfrey

John is a long-standing industry figure and an active member of FutureStaff’s advisory board.

John has worked in financial services since 1961 and has experience in banking, accounting, stock broking, treasury, financial planning, funds management and superannuation. He was the founding chair of one of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and more recently their chair in 2002.

In his long career in financial services, John has headed a number of dealer groups as founder of Godfrey Weston, Chairman of Godfrey, Glebe Asset Management’s financial planning arm and LOWELL Flinders.

Rob Thomason (2008)

Rob has over twenty-five years business experience in education, both private and public, professional associations and consulting practice and is an active member of FutureStaff’s advisory board.

Rob has held a range of distinguished roles including General Manager AFR Education, Fairfax Business Media (FBM); Director, Executive Education at Melbourne Business School; Director, DeakinPrime; Director, Management Education of APESMA; Manager, Student Affairs, La Trobe University; Student Administration Manager, RMIT and Records Manager, Footscray Institute of Technology (now Victoria University).

Rob has a Masters of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma of Management and a Bachelor of Arts.
